Edisi Puisi

Our Poetry Edition showcases 21 pieces of batik nitik. Nitik means to create a dot. It is a type of batik motif which is made up of many tiny square dots arranged in a repeated geometric pattern.
With each piece from this special edition, you will find part of a line from the phrase “Aku ingin mencintaiMu | Seperti lingkaran | Tak berujung”. (trans. I want to love you like a circle with no end.)
Oniatta pairs the kain with a white silk kebaya kutubaru, and a light blue elements shawl.
